Pets
There are a few opportunities for pets, but it's relatively limited.
Plan Around Pets
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Pets Details
Leashed pets are welcome on paved roads, parking lots, and Morefield Campground. No pets are allowed on most trails or in any buildings, including restrooms. The two pet-friendly trails are in Wetherhill Mesa, The Long House Loop and Nordenskiold #16, both of which include pet-waste stations. Of course, service dogs are always welcome, but no therapy pets please. Please note that most of the cliff dwellings require climbing up and down ladders, which is unsafe for service dogs. Make sure your pet has extra water and plenty of ventilation at all times.
