Operating Hours Details
Mesa Verde Visitor Center and the Mesa Verde Museum offer extended hours during the summer peak season (generally Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends), and more limited hours during the off-season. During the off-season, operating hours are generally 9am-4:30pm. During the summer season, operating hours are generally 8am-6:30pm. Morefield Campground is open May through mid-October. Far View Lodge and the Metate Dining Room are open mid-April through mid-October. Far View Terrace Cafe is open May through mid-October. Spruce Tree Terrace Cafe is open year-round for lunch, with more dining options in the summer season. Tours of the cliff dwellings are not available in the winter season. Wetherill Mesa is closed for the winter season. All Mesa Verde Nationa Park buildings are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
