Protruding out of the Indian Peaks Wilderness is this nearly 12,000-foot triangular cone-shaped mountain peak. It looms over the crystal clear Mirror Lake, which on a sunny day, reflects the mountains shape on its surface. It is unusual structure and photo genetic surroundings make it one of the most popular natural sights in the state, although reaching it can be a daunting task. The one-way journey to the peak via the Cascade Trail is 7.5-miles. There are numerous campsites around the base where you can spend the night before embarking on the return part of your trip.
