This high desert paradise and reservoir spans 900 water-acres perfect for boating, jet skiing, and swimming. Photographers can enjoy the abundance of wildlife, while bikers and horseback riders can appreciate the trails surrounding the reservoir. Warm-water anglers may find northern pike and catfish. There are plenty of picnic sites with grills and shelters. Fifteen basic camping sites are available, meaning there won't be water or power at these sites. Birdwatching is also popular here, with golden eagles, ospreys and rough-legged hawks along the shores. The winter season offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
