Cascade Falls Trail Details

Frequented by hikers and horseback riders alike, the main attraction of Cascade Falls Trail is the swift-flowing waterfall at the end of the 3.5-mile trek. What starts out in a valley with meadows and marshlands, the trail terrain becomes progressively more narrow, rugged, and lush. During the first mile or so, the landscape is ripe with opportunities to spot wildlife, like elk, moose, and deer. Towards the end, the trail splits and the left spur is for horses. Hikers will arrive at the bottom of the falls and can scramble up to the top for the best views. The trail's elevation gain is less than 500 feet and can be considered moderately difficult.
