Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Temporary Placards Details
Temporary disability placards are available to Yosemite visitors who have temporary disabilities or are permanently disabled but neglect to bring their own permits with them. Placards can be obtained at park entrance stations, campgrounds, and visitor center and must be displayed on your vehicle dashboard. The placards will allow you to park in designated handicapped parking spaces and to drive on some roads closed to other private vehicles, such as the Happy Isles Loop Road and Mirror Lake Road. Emergency flashers must be used while driving on these roads, since they are shared with pedestrians, bicyclists, and shuttle buses, and the speed limit is 15 mph.
