Ostrander Ski Hut Details
The Ostrander Ski Hut, located at Ostrander Lake, dates to 1941, when it was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps for the benefit of cross-country skiers. Operated by the Yosemite Conservancy (http://www.yosemiteconservancy.org), the hut sleeps up to 25 people and is equipped with bunks, mattresses, a wood heating stove and kitchen. There's no potable water, but lake water can be treated and used for drinking and cooking.
