Bridalveil Creek Details
Before jumping over the cliffs down Bridalveil Fall, Bridalveil Creek meanders through forests and meadows. The trail follows suit, running through trees and over granite slopes, crossing little streams via small bridges, and rolling by banks of milkweed, monkey flowers, and dog violets. The result is a delightful, largely climb-free walk. The trail remains relatively level and largely unfrequented by the crowds. Take the junction with the trail to Ostrander Lake for a more scenic destination. To loop around via Bridalveil Creek Campground, you'll have to ford Bridalveil Creek and continue back towards the campground and walk along Glacier Point Road. Trailhead: Located at Ostrander Lake Trailhead on Glacier Point Road. There is a medium-sized dirt parking lot which serves Bridalveil Creek and Ostrander Lake trails. Restrooms: There is a small semi-permanent pit toilet located at the trailhead.
