Stout Grove Details

Located in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, Stout Grove has a trail leading to 300-foot redwoods. Although this grove may not have the tallest of the area's redwoods, it does have some of the most photogenic. Stout Grove has an incredible canopy, with the tall trees serving as the pillars to a cathedral-like area. The grove is not far from US 101, but the thick forest and ground cover block most highway sounds, making you feel like you're far from civilization.
