Ossagon Trail Details
The Ossagon Trail begins at the marked trailhead off the west side of the Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway, at mile marker 132.7. The trail can also be accessed via the Coastal Trail. Although the Ossagon Trail is rated moderate, it does have some steep grades as it descends to the coast. The trail follows an old road, so it is great for both hiking and biking; it takes you from old-growth redwoods through a second-growth forest, and ends at a secluded beach. It is 1.8 miles from end to end.
