Mill Creek Campground Details

Mill Creek Campground is the largest campground in the park and located among new-growth redwoods. Situated off of Highway 101 seven miles south of Crescent City, Calif., Mill Creek is in the northern half of the park and has great access to hiking trails and ranger-led programs. This campground is open from May 15 through Sept. 30 and has 145 tent and RV sites, with designated hiker/biker sites available. There are no RV hookups available, but the campground does have hot showers, accessible restrooms, a dump station, picnic tables, fire pits, food lockers, and a campfire center for evening programs. The campground has a vehicle limit length of 31 feet. All four park campgrounds take reservations in advance: call 1-800-444-7275. Reservations are highly encouraged for stays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. All campgrounds charge the same rates: $35 per night, with a discounted rate of $17.50 per night for California State Pass, Federal Pass, and Senior Pass Holders.
