Jedediah Smith Campground is located amid old-growth redwoods, with great access to outdoor activities. Guests have quick access to hiking trails, swimming, fishing, and campfire programs. The park's northernmost campground, Jedediah Smith is 10 miles east of Crescent City, Calif., and has 86 tent and RV sites, with designated hiker/biker sites available. There are no RV hookups available, but the campground does have hot showers, accessible restrooms, a dump station, picnic tables, fire pits, food lockers, and a visitor center. The campground is open year-round and has a vehicle limit length of 36 feet. All four park campgrounds take reservations in advance: call 1-800-444-7275. Reservations are highly encouraged for stays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. All campgrounds charge the same rates: $35 per night, with a discounted rate of $17.50 per night for California State Pass, Federal Pass, and Senior Pass Holders.
