This narrow and mostly unpaved road wanders through the heart of Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. The road is 10 miles one-way, leading from Crescent City, Calif., to a junction with US 101. It takes about 45 minutes to drive and offers a closeup view of old-growth redwoods, with ample opportunities to stop to take pictures or go on short walks through the trees. Motor homes, RVs, and trailers are not advised on this road.
