Gold Bluffs Campground Details
Gold Bluffs Campground is the only park campground located along the coast, making it slightly more challenging to get to compared to the campgrounds right off of US 101. Open year-round, this campground is located 10 miles north of Orick, Calif., on the unpaved Davison Road, northwest of Highway 101. The smallest campground in the park, Gold Bluffs has only 26 tent and RV sites. There are no RV hookups available, but the campground does have solar showers, restrooms, picnic tables, fire pits, food lockers, and wind shelters. The campground has a vehicle limit length of 24 feet, with trailers prohibited. Gold Bluffs Campground has easy access to a secluded stretch of beach and over 70 miles of hiking and biking trails. All four park campgrounds take reservations in advance: call 1-800-444-7275. Reservations are highly encouraged for stays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. All campgrounds charge the same rates: $35 per night, with a discounted rate of $17.50 per night for California State Pass, Federal Pass, and Senior Pass Holders.
