Hiking Details

Enjoy over 30 miles of trails ranging from easy to strenuous. Newcomers should stop into Pinnacles Visitor Center, Bear Gulch Nature Center or West Pinnacles Visitor Center to consult with a park ranger regarding which trail to set out on. Trails can be accessed from Pinnacles Campground, Bear Gulch Day Use Area, Old Pinnacles Trailhead and Chaparral. Regardless of the trail you choose, bring plenty of water per person. Flashlights are necessary when hiking through caves.
