San Jacinto Peak Details

Known both as Mt. San Jacinto and San Jacinto Peak, the highest peak in the San Jacinto Mountains stands at 10,834 feet, and is actually part of the Mount Jacinto State Park. West of both Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park, the peak can be seen on a clear day from many spots inside the park. Most of the state park is a designated wilderness area and is open to hiking and camping, as well as offering two drive-in campgrounds.
