Canyon Road Details

To reach the Fourtynine Palms Oasis in Joshua Tree National Park, turn south on Canyon Road from Highway 29 in the town of Twentynine Palms, Calif., which becomes Fourtynine Palms Canyon Road shortly before you cross into the park. The trailhead to the oasis is at the end of the road. Bikes are welcome in Joshua Tree on any road open to vehicles, including backcountry roads.
