From visitor centers equipped with accessible facilities to nature trails designed for ease of access, Joshua Tree is committed to providing an inclusive environment for exploring the desert's natural beauty. Accessible Visitor Centers The park boasts several visitor centers that cater to the needs of visitors with disabilities: Oasis Visitor Center: Features an accessible sidewalk and a vegetation garden area, allowing for an immersive educational experience. Black Rock, Cottonwood, Oasis, and Joshua Tree Visitor Centers: Equipped with accessible desks, these centers provide comfortable and convenient spaces for learning about the park and planning your visit. Joshua Tree and Oasis Visitor Centers: Offer low exhibit displays, making the rich history and ecology of the park accessible to everyone. Nature Trails Several nature trails have been designed or modified to be accessible, offering the chance to experience the park's diverse environments: Bajada Nature Trail: Located near the south entrance, this trail allows visitors to explore the desert landscape with ease. Cap Rock Nature Trail: Situated at the junction of Park Blvd. and Keys View Rd., offering views of the unique rock formations.
