Located just beyond the Harmony Borax Works site on the same access road, Mustard Canyon is a convenient hike/drive/bike route close to Furnace Creek. Named for its distinctive color, Mustard Canyon can be entered from the one-way, unpaved road near the borax works and exited near Cow Creek, the park's administrative headquarters, making for a nice loop hike or mountain-biking route. If you drive, a 4WD vehicle is recommended, although most 2WD cars should be able to handle this route.
