Mesquite Spring Campground Details

Mesquite Spring Campground is a first come, first served campground located at 1,800 feet in elevation, about two miles off Scotty’s Castle Road below Grapevine Canyon in the northern section of Death Valley National Park. Surrounded by desert mountains and striking geologic formations, it serves as a convenient base camp for exploring the park’s quieter northern landscapes. The campground offers 40 sites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire grate. There are no hookups available. Amenities include potable water, a year round dump station, and seasonal staff presence. Trash collection is available year round. Fees are paid at the automated pay station at the campground entrance. Cell service and internet connectivity are not available. Operating conditions and services are subject to change.
