Hole in the Wall Trail Details

There's no gang here, but Death Valley's Hole-in-the-Wall trail takes backpackers into a natural amphitheater in the Funeral Mountains with the option of exploring several side canyons. Experienced hikers can climb into these canyons or head back down their lower reaches to create a loop hike. The trail is unmarked and goes across open country and into gravel wash and canyons. Off-roaders will need a high-clearance vehicle to reach Hole in the Wall and 4WD beyond that.
