Gower Gulch Loop Details
Starting from the Golden Canyon parking area, the Gower Gulch Loop trail runs four miles, starting on the Golden Canyon trail before angling off steeply uphill near marker #10, passing through colorful badlands and narrow canyons and alongside old borax mines. Hikers can take in the views with a one-mile detour to Zabriskie Point, or head down Gower Gulch (scrambling over a couple of dry waterfalls along the way) to complete the loop. The Golden Canyon parking lot is 2 miles south of Highway 190 on Badwater Road.
