From the pier and Scorpion Beach, follow Smugglers Road to the beach at Smugglers Cove and, after relaxing a bit, turn around and make your way back to your starting point. Be sure to bring ample water with you on this long hike; there isn't any water available along the way. Hikers will see wildflowers, numerous birds, and perhaps even a fox along this trail. You can find restrooms near the trailhead at Smugglers Cove.
