Lobo Canyon Trail Details

To access the Lobo Canyon Trail from the pier, simply follow Smith Highway west until you come to the trailhead; turn right and follow the trail north. Once on the trail, you will find spectacular wind- and water-sculpted sandstone cliffs, as well as a stream that flows year-round and a gorgeous coastal view at the canyon's mouth. Restrooms and an island visitor center are accessible near the beginning of this trail, off of Smith Highway.
