Fagatele Bay Trail Details
The Fagatele Bay Trail is actually not located inside the national park, but instead on private land. The trail provides access to the Fagatele Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Plan on seeing turtles, whales, sharks, and giant clams, as these animals call the marine sanctuary home. Travel west on Route 001 to Futiga Village and turn left before the US Mart. Continue on the road past the landfill until reaching a locked gate. You may have to ask permission from the family at the end of the road to hike past the gate, and they may charge a fee. The trail starts here and ends at a small beach. Call 684-633-5155 for more information.
