Le'ala Shoreline Trail Details
The Le'ala Shoreline Trail is located outside of the national park boundaries on private land and provides hikers with access to the Le'ala Shoreline National Natural Landmark. The trail starts in the village of Vailoatai and follows the coastline through thick forest with occasional views of the approaching shoreline. The trail travels in and out of ancient volcanic craters and ends at the junction with the Fagatele Bay National Marine Sanctuary Trail. The trail is 3.2 miles roundtrip. Note that there are some steep ascents and descents as you make your way down the trail.
