Whittington Avenue Details
Whittington Avenue, north of the park's western section, covers roughly the same ground as Whittington Trail. Those exiting the north side of the park on West Mountain Drive will cross Whittington Trail; there's a place to park where the two roads meet, for those who wish to hike the loop trail, popular with joggers and walkers. Whittington Avenue itself is a one-way loop road here, which circles the green space and trail. The road continues east-west past the park, ending on the east at an intersection with Central Avenue, and on the west, turning into Blacksnake Road.
