Trees and Plants Details
Other than the developed area of the Bathhouse Row National Historic Landmark District, Hot Springs National Park consists mostly of forested hills and valleys. The forest is primarily oak, hickory and pine, but other trees include magnolias, maples, poplars and walnut trees. Wildflowers bloom in the spring, and the area is also rich in a variety of grasses, which cover wooded slopes and valleys.
