Ranger Led Programs Details
Ranger-led tours are available of both the Fordyce Bathhouse, which now houses the park's visitor center, and of Bathhouse Row. Fordyce tours are offered daily, staff permitting, and share with visitors the history of the bathhouse, which was built in 1915. Outdoor tours are offered during the summer. They begin at the Fordyce Bathhouse and cover the Grand Promenade and Bathhouse Row, returning to the Fordyce. Visitors will hear the 4,000-year-old story of how rainwater turns to hot spring water, and how it in turn is used for therapeutic treatments in Hot Springs.
