Saguaro National Park hosts events throughout the year that provide various perspectives on the Sonoran Desert. Events hosted on multiple days throughout the year include Night Walks, Star Parties, Moonrise Over the Mountains (during the full moon), Sunrise and Sunset hikes, and many more. The park has hosted a Wildflower BioBlitz in the springtime, with park goers invited to join botanists in finding as many annual plants and wildflowers as they can in one day. Runners flood the park during the annual [TMC Saguaro National Park Labor Day 8-Miler and 5k Walk/Run](http://www.azroadrunners.org/races/detail/saguaro). From September through May, you can volunteer in the park and help preserve the Sonoran Desert during the [Monthly Buffelgrass Pull](https://www.nps.gov/sagu/getinvolved/supportyourpark/monthly-buffelgrass-pull.htm), helping to remove an invasive grass that threatens native plants and wildlife.
