Kolb Studio Details
Originally owned and operated by pioneers Emery and Ellsworth Kolb, this ever-growing park fixture clings to the edge of the canyon, providing the Grand Canyon with an art gallery, bookstore, and information center. Once a photo studio in the early 20th century that provided visitors with beautiful images of the canyon, the building now exhibits cultural and geologic history of the canyon, and all proceeds from the well-stocked bookstore goes to the restoration of the studio.
