Paddling Details
Paddling is a great way to explore the park's rivers or coastline. All paddling in the park should be treated as backcountry paddling due to its rugged and remote nature. If you have never guided your own paddling trip, it is not recommended to start here. All paddlers must be self-sufficient and prepared for changes in weather and water conditions. The park has 155 miles of coast for sea kayaking. These incredible trips can be hazardous, difficult, and are logistically tricky but reward visitors with amazing views and unspoiled nature. River trips offer stretches of up to 90 miles ideal for multi-day trips. Regardless of the trip you are interested in, it is encouraged to check with park staff in the planning stages of your trip.
