Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Ranger-Led Programs Details
With a very short window of staffed time each year, ranger-led programs at Lake Clark are small in number, yet mighty. Tours of Dick Proenneke's Cabin on Upper Twin Lake are offered daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. In the summer, Junior Ranger programs are available for kids at the visitor center in Port Alsworth, as are informal talks at the exhibits at the visitor center. The visitor center in Port Alsworth is open daily late May through mid-September; it's best to contact the park for exact dates and opening hours.
