Ranger-Led Programs Details
The park headquarters in Kotzebue has a variety of ranger-led programs in the summer and throughout the year. The headquarters organizes weekly movie showings called the "Arctic Circle Film Series" every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. and concludes with a discussion. During the busier summer months (June to August) the rangers also organize lectures on park projects and research, workshops on a range of topics from Inupiaq poetry to using local plants, and also community outings such as bird walks and archeological digs. The schedule is created weekly and is posted at the park headquarters. To get more information on programs during your visit, call (907) 442-3890
