Flightseeing Details
There's no other way to see great amounts of the park in a short time than by organized flight tour. Flights can be arranged from Kotzebue, or the eastern village of Bettles and can take from one to four guests per flight. From Kotzebue it takes two hours to fly to the park, from Bettles it typically takes five hours. Depending on the type of plane and gear (wheels, floats, skis) planes can usually land within the park for up close viewing. Call commercial tour operators in advance to make reservations. Tours typically run from $600-700 per hour.
