Fishing Details
The Kobuk River is prime fishing territory for tranquil sport fishing. This region is remote fishing at its finest, there is not much information published about the area and the waters are generally empty for anglers. The park waters offer anglers opportunities to catch sheefish and salmon in the fall and grayling and pike year round. All fishermen must have an Alaska State fishing license and follow Alaska State fishing regulations. There is a Fish and Game departmental office in Kotzebue where visitors can learn about the most up to date regulations before setting off to fish in park lands.
