Willow Cabin Details
Willow Cabin is a winter-use cabin maintained near the Exit Glacier. The cabin is open to the public from Oct. 15 to April 15 each winter. Reservations are required in advance for all public-use cabins, the reservations office can be reached at 877-444-6777. Reservations are available starting Oct. 15 for the coming winter season. Willow Cabin can be reached by snowmobile, cross-country skis, dogsled, and by snowshoe. The road to Exit Glacier closes for the winter depending on weather, but typically in mid-October. Pets are not allowed in public-use cabins with the exception of service dogs. The cabin costs $50 per night and stays are limited to three nights. The cabin is equipped with propane heat, a propane-fueled stove, oven, refrigerator, and lights, as well as furniture such as tables, chairs, a bunk bed, and a couch. The cabin has two bedrooms with space for up to four people, and basic cooking utensils, pots and pans, and flatware. Guests should bring bedding and sleeping pads. A pit toilet is located nearby. There is no running water at the cabin, so guests should bring drinking water or be prepared to melt snow.
