Kenai Fjords National Park Visitor Center Details
Located at Seward's boat harbor, the park's main visitor center provides critical information about the park. The visitor center is open daily from early May to mid-September. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are extended from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The visitor center offers maps, books, and park information, as well as a film that gives an overview of the park. Rangers are on duty to answer visitor questions. The visitor center's location at the boat harbor is ideally located to visit before or after a boat tour along the fjord. There also are accessible restrooms here. In the winter (September through May), the primary visitor services are available at the park's administrative office.
