Ranger-led Programs Details
Several ranger-led programs take place at Brooks Camp from June 7 through September 17. Culture Walks occur daily at 2:00 pm and explore the archaeological sites of several ancient house sites, concluding at a reconstructed model of an ancient native Alaskan home. The walks begin at the Brooks Camp Visitor Center and cover roughly a half-mile round-trip lasting 45-minutes to an hour. The walks are free. Evening programming takes place nightly at 8:00 pm from June 7 to September 17 at the Brooks Camp auditorium, covering a range of topics and stories on the cultural and geographical history of Katmai National Park. The talks last 45-minutes to an hour and are free.
