The Baranof Wind Tour Boat Details
Operated by park concessionaire Aramark, the _Baranof Wind_ is a tour boat used for daily excursions from May through September. Visitors can buy tickets and board at the Glacier Bay Lodge; advance reservations are highly encouraged during the summer. Guests on the _Baranof Wind_ will be transported around the bay and enjoy views of the park's glaciers, mountains, and wildlife. The eight-hour tour is accompanied by a Glacier Bay National Park naturalist who will narrate and answer questions from guests. This is the only day tour offered in the national park; drop-off service is available for kayakers and hikers. The day tour costs $195 per adult and $97.50 for children ages 3 -12 years. Boarding time is 7:00 a.m. at the lodge. Guests can expect to return to the lodge around 3:30 p.m. on the same day. Lunch and beverages are included in the trip cost.
