Bartlett River Trail Details
From the Visitor Center, walk about 0.5 miles up the Park Road to the Bartlett River Trailhead. Following the Bartlett River Trail, you'll pass along a tidal lagoon and through temperate spruce and hemlock forest to the Bartlett River estuary. Wildlife abounds in these productive ecosystems, from waterfowl to moose and otters. During the summer months, spawning salmon attract anglers to the river's mouth, along with seals and other animals. When you reach the estuary, turn back and re-trace your steps to the trailhead for a 4-mile round-trip hike.
