Noatak River Details

This 65-mile-long river flows through a glacial valley with snow covered peaks. It's one of the longest wild rivers in the state and features wonderful opportunities for floating and viewing wildlife such as caribou, dali sheep, grizzly bears and raptors. Due to its popularity, vegetation at put-in and take-out points has been negatively impacted. Please be sure to move directly to the river upon arriving to camp on gravel bars. You should also refrain from building fires on the tundra.
