The 110-mile long Kobuk River passes through a large forested area. Flowing from headwaters in the Endicott Mountains, it's located in the southern Brooks Range and offers sweeping views of wide valleys and hillsides, as well as two canyons. It's an exceptional float river with short stretches of class V rapids. Stop in the preserve for sport hunting, wildlife observation and backpacking.
