Coldfoot Details

Coldfoot is a gateway community located outside the park's southeast border. Unlike other gateway communities, it's possible to drive into Coldfoot from Fairbanks using the Dalton Highway. The small town includes an air taxi service, a motel, a store, a cafe and a post office, as well as campsites and trails. Many visitors drive or fly from Fairbanks to Coldfoot and spend a night or two there before flying or hiking into the park.
