Ranger-Led Events Details
The coolest and most popular Ranger event at Denali is undoubtedly the daily sled-dog demonstration at the park kennels, but park Rangers also lead frequent interpretive walks and presentations. Walks run from easy strolls on established to more challenging Discovery Hikes. Talks are held at visitor centers and at park campgrounds. Rangers also join the daily Kantishna Experience bus tours to help provide information at Wonder Lake. Although they are not Rangers, Alaska Geographic experts do lead educational programs at the Murie Science and Learning Center, as well. See the event calendar for more information.
