Sports hunting -- as long with discharging any firearms -- is prohibited in Denali National Park and its designated wilderness areas. However, hunting is allowed in the portion of the park known as the Denali National Preserve. Frankly, there are many places to hunt (and fish) in Alaska that have far fewer restrictions than Denali. For those park visitors who choose to hunt in Denali National Preserve, many do so while accompanied by a professional guide. The [Alaska Remote Guide Service](http://www.alaskaremote.com) and the Kichatna Guide Service (907-235-7313) offer guided hunts for Dall sheep, grizzly bear, black bear, wolves and wolverine. In the parts of Denali National Park and Preserve where hunting is allowed, you'll need a valid Alaska state hunting license and follow all state and federal hunting rules.
