Dog Sledding Details

Denali is the only U.S. national park with its own sled-dog kennel, and volunteers and rangers on dogsleds still play an important role in patrolling this huge park. If you happen to have your own sled and team you can use the sledding trails in the park. Denali Dog Sled Expeditions and Denali Lodge West offer guided mushing trips into the park. Daily sled-dog demonstrations are also held at the kennels.
