Hoathwaite Campsite Details
There are four campsites run by the National Trust: Great Langdale, Low Wray, Wasdale and Hoathwaite. The most basic of the four, Hoathwaite offers visitors a beautiful location close to the shore of Coniston Water. There are porta-potties on site, as well as portable shower units, a dishwashing area, and chemical disposal point for chemical toilets. There are 40 sites for tents that are bookable in advance, and 20 available on a first-come-first-served basis, as well as four spots for campers, although none of them feature electrical hookups.
