Caneel Bay Details

Caneel Bay is both a stunning bay with an idyllic white-sand beach and gentle waves, and home to the luxury Cannel Bay Resort, once owned by park benefactor Laurance Rockefeller. The Caneel Bay Resort is a luxury property that makes the most of its location, offering guests complimentary activities like snorkeling, sailboats, kayaks, and standup paddleboards; a bottle of rum upon arrival; and facilities for use when visiting the beach. Caneel Bay is made up of seven different beaches, each equally as beautiful and relaxing. **Scott Beach** is the perfect place to check out the sea turtles, float gently in the water or just enjoy the sun while laying in the sand. **Paradise Beach** lies on its own and is where to go if you are looking to get away. You can find Paradise Beach at the end of Cottage Point right before Scott Beach. **Turtle Bay** is ideal for snorkelers and a great boat watching spot. You'll be looking over a beautiful white beach and the British Virgin Island of of Tortola. **Caneel Beach** is the busiest and most popular beach in Caneel Bay. It's right next to most resort amenities and where guests make use of the resort waterfront sports, including sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. **Hawksnest** Beach is a snorkelers heaven, with rocks at both ends of the beach to explore. If you can rise in time, Hawksnest provides a magnificent spot to watch the sunrise in the morning. **Little Caneel** lies west of the dock and offers a view of the anchorage and multitude of boats coming and going. **Honeymoon Beach** is only a ten minute walk from Little Caneel and offers great snorkeling, equipment rentals and beach hut for lunch.
