Lind Point Trail Details

An easy 2.2-mile trail (round trip) connecting the Visitor Center to Salomon Beach and Honeymoon Beach, the well-maintained Lind Point Trail takes about an hour to hike each way, but the effort is totally worth it when you get that first big view of the beach and bay, and then the final reward of arriving with your toes in the sand. The trail starts behind the Visitor Center and moves through forests about a quarter-mile before you reach a fork in the trail. The upper part ascends about 160 feet to an overlook giving you a glimpse of Cruz Bay, before moving down the other side of the point to rejoin the trail a little further on. The lower trail goes directly to the beaches. No matter which way you go, the walk takes the same amount of time. Around 0.7-miles in, a short spur trail leads to Saloman Beach; Honeymoon Beach and its amenities -- watersports rentals and tours -- are 0.4-miles down the trail.
